Fitting and Removal Instructions

Safety Procedure for using the "Pool Safety Net":
The "Pool Safety Net" is a safety aid, but like many other household objects can itself become a hazard if it is not fully fitted, or fully removed, or handled with caution and safety in mind.
If the "Pool Safety Net" is not in use, it should be safely stored until required for the purpose it was intended.
Adults should familiarize themselves with the correct procedure for removing and reinstalling the "Pool Safety Net". Children should not play or climb on the net.
In the unlikely event that the "Pool Safety Net" should become faulty for any reason which may adversely affect the functional safety for which it was intended, the net should be removed from the pool and the company should be advised both telephonically and in writing of the fault so that it can be rectified.
Fitting and Removal of the "Pool Safety Net":
Not withstanding that owners should make themselves available to receive personal instructions from the installation technician whilst he is on site the following instructions should be followed.
Removal:
1. Unclip the tensioning end of the cord attached to the central tightening system.
This will immediately result in the loss of tension in the net.
2. Systematically release all clips on the perimeter of the net.
3. Roll up the net and stow away until reinstallation is required.
Installation:
1. Unroll the net into the pool at the same point it was previously rolled up
2. Beginning at the starting point given by the installation technician insert the net clips into the respective
anchor points around the pool. Ensure that no anchors are left out or inadequately secured.
3. Secure the passive cord of the Central tightening system into the appropriate anchor position.
4. Pull firmly on the other end of the cord attached to the central tightening system until sufficient tension is
spread across the net before securing in the appropriate anchor position
5. For final safety ensure that the net is safely secured in all positions and sufficiently tensioned.
Maintenance:
In the interests of safety periodically check that the net is safely secured and not vulnerable in any way to accidents.
After heavy rainfall reduce water level to ensure that there is sufficient clearance between net and water level.
